Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Orleans Airport South by IHG

Nice, quiet Holiday Inn. Close to Airport. They have the shuttle, but we didn't need it. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Nice Christmas decorations.

Older hotel, does not look like the photos that are online. It is not a new location it’s 10 years old and was a Ramada before they purchased it so the rooms are very tight, smaller space not ideal for several people in one room. A lot of the items in the room were scratched, old and worn down and need to be replaced. The doors should be replaced as well the bathroom wood was stripping away across the bottom half of the door, that hadn’t been replaced. Bathtub should be updated the bottoms were darker and old, we used shower shoes. If this place had some upgrades to the rooms it would be a really great place to stay and if the cleaning crew would get more training. I asked for my room to be cleaned and no one came 2 days in a row to even check and see if we needed service. They finally come the night before I checked out. Front desk was so very nice and courteous they tried to help and put in cleaning request but the cleaning team doesn’t show up. Breakfast was the same each day nothing new or different, breakfast team was great and kind, kept everything clean and stocked. For the price of this room and the quality it doesn’t match (needs upgrades). The location is great if you are flying in but I wasn’t flying so that didn’t apply. They had a free shuttle to the airport which was nice. The lobby area is where much of the updates went for this hotel bc it is very nice and pristine, upgraded and all. But the rooms and everything else are another story.

My call from the airport was answered by Amy. Amy was very professional and friendly. She gave me instructions on where to meet the driver for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. When I arrived she greeted me with a smile. She got me checked in and handed me the key to my room and I was on my way.

My family and I use this hotel often when we come home to visit. Thank you guys for always having nice, clean rooms. From check in at front desk to our room...great service keep it up.

The rooms were comfortable and quiet. They beds were comfortable. We book here for free parking and breakfast. The breakfast was pathetic the first morning, second morning they did have bacon and sausage, and eggs. I would stay here again. They need to do better about breakfast if the truck doesn't deliver, like go buy some eggs etc.

Very impressed with the hotel, the staff was great. The night shift front desk person was very professional and had a great attitude, I apologize for not getting his name, but he definitely represented the hotel in the way you would expect as a guest.

Enjoyed my stay at this property for Thanksgiving weekend. The front desk staff lady at check-in was courteous, professional, and pleasant. Room was very nice and clean. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. Definitely recommend staying here!!

This is a pretty nice HIE especially for an airport hotel. Has an attached bar & grill that I didn't get to try. Everything was typical of an HIE, except that I splurged a little for an extra space room, but my shower didn't have a shower curtain. I did my best. Also, the breakfast bar seemed a little sparse, but I attributed that to being towards the end of the breakfast time. All in all it did it's job, gave me a place to take a comfortable place to sleep.
